Post-publication notes and errata associated with: Myung, J. I., Navarro, D. J. & Pitt, M. A. (2006). Model selection by Normalized Maximum Likelihood. Journal of Mathematical Psychology, 50, 167-179. - There is a somewhat confusing typo in this paper, at the top of p169 in the published version. The text incorrectly refers to "Shannon-Fano -Elias codes" where the intent was to refer to "Shannon codes". Shannon codes are the optimal codes associated with Claude Shannon's noiseless coding theorem, while the Shannon-Fano-Elias codes were a precursor to arithmetic coding. Confusingly, both are distinct from Shannon-Fano codes, which were a precursor to Huffman codes. This mistake reappears later on the same page. Last Updated: 9/9/2006
